Generate, edit, and read images — plus what a failed generation actually costs.

How do I make an image?

Just ask for it. Describe what you want — the subject, a style, any details that matter — and ROK writes the image prompt for you and draws it right in the conversation. You can keep refining from there.

Image generation is a signed-in feature, and it draws on a separate allowance of 4 images a day, so it never spends your chat credits.

Can I change an image after it's generated?

Yes. Say what should change — "make it dusk, keep everything else the same" — and ROK edits that exact image rather than generating a new one from scratch, so the parts you liked stay put.

You can also upload a picture of your own and ask for changes to that.

Can ROK look at a picture I upload?

Yes. Attach an image and ask about it: ROK can describe what's in it, read text or diagrams out of it, and reason about the details. The same attachment can then be edited if you want something changed.

Uploading needs a free account — guests can't attach files or images.

Why did my image generation fail?

Usually one of two things: the image service was busy, or the request was refused. A failed generation doesn't count against you — the slot is refunded, so you can reword the prompt and try again straight away.

If the same idea keeps failing while other prompts work, it's almost certainly the request rather than an outage. Wording it differently often gets it through.
