Files & workspace

The Files panel, files that outlive a chat, and getting a finished file out.

What is the Files panel?

It's your workspace, made visible: a persistent set of folders and files that survives across conversations. Open it to browse what's there, read a file, and create, rename, or delete items yourself.

Files the assistant creates with its file tools show up there as it works, and whatever it wrote in an earlier chat is still there to pick up later. Guests get the same panel, scoped to their device.

How do I download a file the assistant made?

Ask for it — presenting a finished file is a deliberate step, so instead of a wall of code pasted into chat you get a file card with a download action on it.

Every presented file also lives in the Files panel, so you can come back for it after the conversation has moved on.

What can I upload?

Documents and images. Attach a document and ROK can read it, search inside it, or work with its contents — spreadsheets, notes, source files, exports. Attach an image and it can describe or edit it.

Uploads need a free account; guests can't attach files. A long document works better with a specific question than with "summarise all of this" — and anything the assistant saves goes to your workspace, so it can search it later instead of holding the whole thing in the conversation.
